Fortnightly Review - Weeks 37 & 38

I didn't swim at all in week 37. I am struggling for motivation and the cold water is enough to tip me over into just not doing any. I forced myself into the pool for 20 minutes at the start of the week, then decided to drain it and clean it properly, and filled it with cold water again. I was hoping a few days of sun might warm it up again but it is still sitting at 14degC. So one  short swim in a fortnight.

And hardly any of the small sessions either. 

I crammed all my bike miles in to a couple of longer rides. My R rides were Ride to Granny's and back, and to the Redgarth Inn and back, and my S-ride was Skene/Sauchen.

I still ran every day, but a lot of them were just to keep my streak going for the year while letting my injured shin recover. I put slightly longer runs in to both Sundays to keep my totals ticking over towards 1,500 miles for the year.
