I did less than 20 minutes in an endless pool and that is all the swimming I did in this fortnight. At least during that I got some videos of my stroke which show some major problems that I can work on. With pools re-opening next week I have booked 3 sessions to try and get me back in to some sort of swim habit.
I also didn't spend enough time on the bike. I had expected to be training with my friend this week and racking up the miles but she didn't bring her bike with her. For my single T ride I went to Tyrebagger/Tertowie/Tyrebagger. For my U rides I went Up to Aviemore with the mountain bike and did a loop round Loch Morlich and then missed my second planned ride as I was preparing for my new job and getting started on my Uni course.
Running is still going well. I am ticking along nicely on course for 1,500 miles for the year. I need to keep averaging 4.2 miles each day or 29.4 per week. I am doing just over 30 each week at the minute. That gives me a little bit of a safety margin in case I need to shorten some for weather over the last few months.
I start my new job tomorrow. That is likely to impact the bike as I try to find time to fit it in, but that was starting to suffer from the weather anyway. I have a plan to build a desk/shelf so I can work whilst on the turbo. Between the job, the pools reopening, my Uni course picking up and my new girlfriend, it is going to be a struggle to fit everything in for a while.
