Swimming has been cancelled again as Covid paranoia has closed all the pools for another month and breaking the ice of the swimming pool was enough to deter any attempt at that. Fortnightly Review - Week 47 & 48

My Dad died last week and the funeral was this week. I have managed to keep my run streak going, and even managed a couple of proper training sessions with Moray Roadrunners while I was through in Elgin, but obviously had gaps everywhere else. So again, this is just the numbers and nothing else. Actuals, (Target) - Swim 3.6 miles / 5,700m. (5.4 miles). Bike 26.7 miles. (53.4 miles). Run 67.7 miles. 2020 End of Year Review

So let us start purely by the numbers. As well as green for success and red for failure, I am going to add in pink for things that were cancelled by Covid. Analysis and general rambling at the bottom. Targets by numbers Represent GBR age-group at an international event. - Event cancelled. Finish top-20 at European Aquathlon Champs. - Event cancelled. Finish top-30 at World Aquathlon Champs. - Event cancelled. Take part in a GBR age-group qualifying race for a 2021 European Champs. - Event cancelled. Take part in a GBR age-group qualifying race for a 2021 World Champs. - Event cancelled. Swim 150 miles. - I am going to call this a fail as I think I could possibly have made it work with outdoor swimming and the pool in my back garden despite Covid closing the pools.
