Fortnightly Review - Weeks 45 & 46

I managed my first complete week since the first lockdown began. Getting back in the pool regularly means I can plan properly for swimming, As well as managing everything I had planned I also managed to get in a swim at something resembling a reasonable pace.

I haven't been outside on my bike in a month, but I am doing better sessions at spin and turbo so am happy with progress. I have mangled to get selected for ETU Cross Triathlon and Cross Duathlon races in 2021 so I really need to be finding some time to get out on the mountain bike. I have actually passed my planned 1,500 bike miles for this year, despite losing a chunk of time to Covid.

Having completed my 2,020km in 2020. I have added another running challenge to my collection. to increase my mileage by 10 miles a month. This is the third month in a row and I am well on course to complete it, even with one less day this month. I have turned Tuesday evening into a planned long run session each week and I am now doing 35 miles a week instead of 30.

I also had my first sports massage in several years and it made a huge difference.
